Percolators can also be used for making brew coffee. In percolator, the water is boiled in a pot inside a basket. The ground coffee is placed on top of the boiled water. The components of a percolator include pot, lid, funnel, basket and filter top. Most stores sell the stove top and electric percolators. Modern percolators can be programmed and relies on electricity to operate. The size of the percolator depends on the number of servings you want to make. Small percolator can only brew 1 coffee at a time. Large percolator can brew up to 12 cups of coffees.
